Bren Brews

Bren Brews

Bren Brews is our second social enterprise to open under The Bren Project umbrella. Here we offer placements in hospitality for eight weeks to our beneficiaries.  The project is run by a manager and supervisor with a combined hospitality experience of over 20 years.   Beneficiaries can expect to be aided by a Hospitality Job Coach and learn the basics of hospitality including kitchen skills, barista skills, front of house duties and customer care to name but a few.

We’re kindly hosted by the United Reformed Church in Hoole who we would like to thank for their generosity.

We aim to ensure a safe and supported work environment in which our beneficiaries can thrive and help set them up for a further placement in the Chester area.    Only 30% of adults with autism are in some form of employment and so Bren Brews is trying bit by bit to help level the playing field and showcase just how wonderful our beneficiaries can be with a little support.

Bren Brews opened in October 2025.  As a community cafe we offer a high quality product but at accessible prices, see our menu below for more details.

We are open to the public 10am to 3pm weekdays with the exception of a Tuesday where we close at 1pm.  Dogs are welcome if on a lead and at the discretion of our beneficiaries’ preference.  We occasionally close based upon church events with advance notice published on our social media pages.
