Post-Covid, we know that many of our beneficiaries are experiencing increased social isolation/exclusion and the associated issues (anxiety, loneliness, loss of self worth, social skills and interactions etc) and so in 2023, we launched our Wellbeing Hub. The hub provides a physical space for the provision of holistic / support services to existing, previous and potential new beneficiaries.
The Hub proactively engenders a sense of worth/value amongst the beneficiary cohort, combats social isolation and creates a ‘community’ with peer-to-peer support as well as access to specialist support from the Bren Project Team. The Hub is a safe space where beneficiaries can socialise and participate in a number of activities, such as:
– Art Therapy
– Games & puzzles
– Refreshments
– A warm welcome and a listening ear!
